Damien Mehldau

In 2023, the Princess Christina Jazz Concours (PCJC) approached the ZomerJazzFietsTour with the request to highlight the jazz section of the concours in its PR activities. The idea quickly emerged to collaborate in the form of a ZomerJazzFietsTour prize. The prize includes the opportunity for the winner to perform during the ZJFT.

This year, we are delighted with the winner of the Princess Christina Jazz Concours 2023: Damien Mehldau. He won the PCJC Academy Prize and the City Proms Concert Prize. Damien Mehldau will perform with his own quartet at De Doorrit in Garnwerd.
